i'll just make up for it with a long post!
last night was new year's eve. we were supposed to be getting these special chocolates from one of the members of Rabble Rabble, but he never really got back to Will about it, so we just drank instead. i really dont like drinking and yet lately i've drank more than i have in months. i only had a bottle of white zinfandel, he had a six pack of red stripe. we got take out from El Pacifico, so that was awesome. yummy enchiladas. we also fired up the vaporizer. i was way tired even before midnight. i almost fell asleep on Will's lap, heard his watch beep at midnight (it always does as a reminder for his nighttime shot, not just because it was new year's), he leaned down to kiss me. we didn't really make a big deal out of it. last year it was just him and me watching Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia for hours and had dinner at Streetside. this time we hung out with Drew and Brett listening to records, though Brett left for a party after a few hours. at any rate, an uneventful night, but that's how i like them. i dont feel the need to go out and party just because you're "supposed to" for new year's.
i've been seeing a lot of Will this past week. its been good.
Saturday night I volunteered for CHIRP to sit at a table in the merch area of the Metro and collect donations for charity and try to promote the organization. i sat with this guy Austin, who sounded like Crispin Glover when he spoke. he was cool. i would like to befriend him, not solely because he sounds like Crispin, but that doesnt hurt. hah afterward, i ran into Aaron on the Fullerton bus, and we got a few beers at Quencher's. the boy still wants me. its tough to ignore his flirting, but i have the best thing going with Will and i'm not screwing it up. it is nice to feel desired by other guys though. after that, I stayed over at Wills. Sunday I got to sit in on their band practice. my first time going to the practice space. it was nicer than i expected. stayed over there again that night and hung out with the guys. monday night was their show at Reggie's. i had a good time and took some great pictures this time around. the videos didnt come out as well as i'd hoped. i wish i knew how to lighten up video somehow. it always gets a lot darker once uploaded to youtube. anyway, this is my new favorite picture of Will:

tuesday night, we met up downtown to see a documentary about a band called The Monks at the Gene Siskel Theatre. that was our first time seeing a film there. it was super nice, and yet not that expensive. we both said we were students. i'm going to use that as long as i can. sometimes its a good thing to look so young :) the movie was great. i learned a lot and found greater respect for a band i knew very little about, besides how incredible most of their songs are. "Complication" is one of my new favorites. i am on a mission to find out what brand of organ Larry Clark played when they were in their heyday. probably something German since they toured Germany mostly. if i could get my hands on that kind of organ i would play all the time. i really want to add organ to the Great Society Mind Destroyers. i want so much to be in a band. i'm not trying to step on them and be "that girl" who is dating a band member so she wants to play in the band too. but seriously, if they ever do a small tour, i'm going. its always been a dream of mine to tour with A band. it's gonna happen.
